The Artist
Kim Donald - Kim's Endless Creations
Kim Donald was born in 1980 in a small country
city called Warrnambool where she lived on a hobby farm with her
parents, older sister and younger brother.
Kim has always been creative minded and has a strong passion for art. She began
playing around with paints at a young age, however only produced her first
painting at the age of 17. In 1998, Kim left Warrnambool to study Bachelor of
Nature Tourism at Latrobe University in Bendigo, where she also sub-majored in
Art.
In 2005, Kim left Bendigo to travel Australia and returned at the beginning of
2007, sparking the beginning of Kim's Endless Creations.
Up until late 2004, Kim had only painted for enjoyment, however the demand for
her style has gradually grown and in the most recent years, Kim has been
painting canvases and murals that she has sold around Australia and some prints
that have gone overseas. Most of which can be found in Cape Tribulation, Far
North Queensland, where she transformed many plain walls and doors into
masterpieces for a resort and tour companies, alongside her job as a tour guide.
Since moving back to Bendigo, Kim has completed Certificate IV in Small Business
Management and started her own business, Kim's Endless Creations. Kim's Endless
Creations aims at adding atmosphere to your home or business by the way of
murals. Kim's murals are more than just a painting; they are a unique statement
of style and a mark of individuality. Kim uses a mixture of mediums but mainly
works with acrylics as they are non-toxic and fast drying. Kim has a love and
passion for what she does and this is extended into each piece that she creates.
She also has a strong appreciation for colour which enlightens those who view
her work. Check out the
Mural Gallery for a few examples of her murals and if
you are interested in commissioning Kim for your very own mural, details can be
found on the Home page. Please check out the
examples of her work in the mural and
canvas galleries and feel free to
contact Kim and tell her what you think.
